Description: Cheetah & Cub on top of a termite mound
After locating this cheetah mother with her cub, they started to move off. Guessing that they were heading to a large termite mound in the distance we got ahead of the pair and waited for them to come towards us. This location provided a beautiful uncluttered background behind these iconic animals. These animals are on the endangered species list and only about 6,500-6,700 cheetahs exist in the wild. To experience them in the wild is a great privilege.
